We’re looking for passionate, experienced travel writers who are interested in an opportunity to refresh content for a major travel brand. If you have excellent writing and research skills, and have lots of travel experience, this is a role for you!
We are seeking freelance writers with a background in SEO content who can take on at least 2-3 assignments per week. Our standard rate is $120 per article refresh, which includes the first draft and two rounds of edits.
Responsibilities
- Write content according to specific editorial standards.
- Collaborate with the Managing Editor, Senior SEO Manager, and other Grit team members as well as external reviewers to move each piece through the editorial workflow.
- Integrate SEO best practices into content.
We Are Looking For…
- You have at least 2-3 years of relevant writing experience for well-known travel brands.
- You have a keen eye for detail, are great at following instructions, and are comfortable working with large amounts of information.
- You have the bandwidth to write 2-3 articles per week, including resolving feedback and making any necessary edits.
- You’re comfortable using or learning Google Docs and Asana (we offer training).
- You have a few relevant writing samples handy to share when applying.
