We’re looking for passionate, self-proclaimed travel guides who are interested in an opportunity to help craft exceptional travel guide content for fellow adventure-seekers. If you have excellent writing or editing skills, this is a role for you!
We are seeking experienced freelance writers and editors with a background in SEO content who can take on at least 2-3 assignments per month. Our standard rate is $40/hour.
Responsibilities
- Write content according to specific editorial standards.
- Collaborate with the Managing Editor, Senior SEO Manager, and other Grit team members as well as external reviewers to move each piece through the editorial workflow.
- Integrate SEO best practices into content.
We Are Looking For…
- You have at least 2-3 years of relevant writing experience (preferably for a print or digital publication).
- You have a keen eye for detail, are great at following instructions, and are comfortable working with large amounts of information.
- You have the bandwidth to write 2-3 articles a month, including resolving feedback and making any necessary edits.
- You’re comfortable using or learning Google Docs and Asana (we offer training).
- You have a few relevant writing samples handy to share when applying.
